The Cook House is the original 1847 kitchen for the historic Childress House. Over the years it’s uses have been numerous. Starting w/ the original kitchen, antique furniture refinishing business, Woodfin Funeral Home (Fifth Generation family-owned business in Murfreesboro still in business today.)
A workshop, horse stable, storage & other uses not yet documented. Gutted in 2021 it’s a stunning, romantic, sweet spot to stay offering a history all its own. The Cook House is a private space.
